Malacca Trip 28-29 Nov 2008 (Part 2)

This is Part 2 of the Malacca trip.
After a short rest in the hotel, we went out to hunt for food.
We didn't expect to find Nancy's Kitchen Restaurant (which is widely advertised on the internet)to be so near our hotel, less than 5 mins walk. Please look at the photos below, from them, you can tell that Nancy's Kitchen is a Peranakan restaurant. Their specialties include Chicken Buah Keluak, Chicken Candlenut, Pork Pongtey, Pork in Tamarind Sauce and Deep Fried Fish Fillet with Chilli and etc.

Address of Nancy's Kitchen:
No. 7 Jalan Hang Lekir (3rd Cross Street)
Off Jalan Tan Cheng Lock
75200 Melaka
Tel: 06-2836099
Opening Hours: 11.00am to 5.30pm (Closed on Tuesdays)

Verdict of the food in Nancy's Kitchen:
Frankly speaking, I'm a lover of Peranakan food, spicy, aromatic.
At Nancy's Kitchen, you can taste a variety of authentic Peranakan food.
I would say most dishes are very tasty, apart from one or two which are
too sweet for my liking.
