Malacca Trip 28-29 Nov 2008 (Part 5)

This is Part 5 of the Malacca Trip.
Last night, after going back to hotel at wee hours, we were all very shacked and had a good night sleep. We had our American breakfast in the morning near the courtyard (photo below) and ready to pack and go.
The hotel room is fully furnished with wooden furniture. The floor is not carpeted, but made of ceramic tiles, but they have two set of slippers for you, in case you don't like the feel of the tiles. :-)
Look at the bowl-liked basin, with olden-style patterns on it, quite unique though.
The basin is located just outside the bathroom, not like those normal hotel rooms where bathroom and basin are in one room.

The hotel's courtyard. You can have a cup of tea and a book in hand to spend your morning or afternoon time in this serene corner.

I happened to passby a house with this beautiful lotus flower blooming under the ray of sunlight. I did not hesitate to snap a photo of this lovely flower, which happened to be one of my favourite flowers besides lily. These flowers picture were taken in the morning. You still can see some dews on the leaves. Simply lovely. :-)
