Our Dinner

I bought a bottle of Korean Bibimbap Sauce
from Sol Mart at Tampines 1.
(the newly opened shopping centre
next to Tampines MRT Station).
It is next to a VCD Shop & Money Changer
This mart sells stuffs from Korea,
from food stuff to cosmetics.
Things are not cheap though.
This bottle of Bibimbap sauce already
cost me S$9.50 <@@>
This sauce is kinda salty, so if use to cook dishes,
remember not to put too much salt.

This is the fried rice using Bibimbap sauce,
very tasty and a little bit spicy.
I added mixed vege and scramble egg to the fried rice.
DH said he loved the fried rice,
very fragrant and right for his taste bud. <^~^>

This spicy chicken wings, in fact should be drumlets ;-p,
is marinated with ginger juice, black pepper, salt, honey, wine,
a sprinkle of paprika & curry powder. Marinate for 2 hours.
Preheat oven at 200*C and bake for 15-20 mins till golden brown.

After dinner we had Almond Longan Tofu as dessert.
Really refreshing ...... :-)

Easy Dinner & a gift, a lovely but sinful one ...

I am not a person who like to cook fanciful dishes
which take me a lot of time.
Hence, a meal with fried noodles and a soup will
make a perfect meal, for me and my DH :-)

My neighbour's wife who is an Indonesian from Medan
went back to her hometown recently.
When she was back to Singapore, she gave us this lovely but sinful Kueh Lapis as a gift. The taste is heaven ... but it was too oily because of the butter.
I heard that Kueh Lapis uses a lot butter to bake. Is it true?
Some facts about Kueh Lapis:
Wikipedia describes it as,"Kuih lapis (layer cake) is a rich kuih consisting of thin alternating layers made of butter, eggs and sugar, piled on top of each other. Each layer is laid down and baked separately, making the creation of a kueh lapis an extremely laborious and time-consuming process. "

椰丝满芬Dessicated Coconut Muffins

我又再次献上我其中的最爱》椰丝满芬!
这次我决定放多一点椰丝,满足我对它的喜爱;-p
我也把烤箱的温度调高到摄氏200度,让满芬能有爆炸性的升起。
我也在满芬烘到一半时,转动烤盘的方向,好让每个满芬能烤出差不多相同的色泽。
我的“用心良苦”凑效了,出来的成品还算满意:-)
满芬的口感也比上次好,松松软软的,还充满椰丝香味......嗯嗯嗯!!好开心哟 SmileyCentral.com

我的午餐

以前小时候,跟爸妈去茶楼吃点心,总会叫糯米鸡。

热腾腾地糯米鸡,吃在口里,暖在心里。

那时的我,因有爹娘的宠爱,倍感幸福。

曾几何时,这些回忆,已经在时间的长廊里,逐渐褪色了......


~香菇腊肠糯米鸡~ ......... 

这是一道我非常喜欢的点心,虽然知道糯米不能多吃,
但还是“拿出勇气”,做了来当午餐。

这是我第一次试做,食谱是跟着这里的。谢谢Ohin的食谱:-)。

成品看起来似模似样,而味道也算不错吧,
第一次有这样的成绩,值得鼓励 .....
(怎么最近喜欢卖花赞花香,真是的!)瓦哈哈!

酸乳酪班兰蛋糕 Pandan Yogurt Cake

很喜欢班兰叶的香味,用它来烹制各种甜点,总是让我食指大动
(^o^)这次做的蛋糕比上次做的还要好吃,这次的比较松软,味道也很够(自卖自夸...瓦哈哈)

这次我改用自发粉,并且减少了分量,原本的3个鸡蛋减为2个,1杯半的面粉减为1杯自发粉,当然糖分也相对地减少。我也用了6寸的蛋糕模子,烘出来的蛋糕娇小玲珑,效果却令人满意。

我相信不久的将来,你又会看到我烘这个蛋糕了... 嘻嘻嘻<^^>

马卡达姆饼干

上个月尾,我的烤箱又开始动工了。懒散的我做了一些马卡达姆坚果饼干。老实说,马卡达姆坚果比起核桃仁是好吃多了。总觉得核桃仁有一种异味,不是很合我的口味。最后一次做饼干好像是很久以前的事了。现在又再动手做饼仔,算是给自己一个交代吧 ...... <@_@>

有大半个月没有动手写些什么的。
不想给自己找借口,唯有承认自己变懒散了...

最近实在有点郁闷、颓废...
因此显得很无奈也很无力...

人生必须经过这种心里的煎熬吗?
为什么总是不能平静地度过?

人生若没有经历、沧桑和煎熬,

会有雨后的彩虹、苦后的甘甜吗?
