Apple Puff苹果泡芙

Using ready-made puff pastry , I whipped up some simple Apple Puffs in half an hours' time.  Simple and Tasty, in line with my motto, Simplicity is Beauty.  haha ...

half portion of the puff pastry
2 medium apples, peeled, cored & cubed
juice of 1 green lemon'
sugar, according to your taste
1 egg, beaten (act as egg wash on the pastry)

1. Cooked apple cubes together with all other ingredients, till carmaelised. Remove from heat and cool.
2. Thawed puff pastry.
3. Roll pastry till about 3mm thick. Cut into squares. Have to work quick as the pastry will become quite sticky.
4. Put the cooked apple filling onto the cut out pastry. Wrap it up and use a fork to tighten the edges.
5. Bake in preheated oven at 200*C for 15 minutes.  Serve with a cup of coffee, tea or milk. :-)



  1. Thks Jess for your compliments. When i bite on the puffs, the apple sauce keeping oozing out. :-) But the puffs looked uneven in colour with the egg wash. Can you tell how to make it even-coloured? Thank you.

    ya is really vy simple & easy to use ready made puff pastry. just roll and shape, fill and bake .. :-)
